Linda Klimentová

Malířka Linda Klimentová (1977) žije a tvoří v Praze a v jižních Čechách. Vystudovala pražskou Akademii výtvarných umění v ateliéru malby Michaela Rittsteina v letech 2000–2006. Absolvovala stáž na Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha ve španělské Cuence. Vzdušnou akvarelovou techniku používá i v malbě akrylem. Vzdušnost dobře vyjadřuje neurčitost a neuchopitelnost vzpomínek a představ o realitě. Její témata se dotýkají rozhraní mezi posvátným a každodenním. Se Zdenkou Huškovou a Markétou Zlesákovou připravila společný výstavní projekt Zelený ostrov, reflexi pobytu na Novém Zélandu. Vystavuje také v tandemu s ateliérovým kolegou Vojtěchem Horálkem. V posledních letech se soustředí na téma venkova, krajiny, hledá vyjádření pro emoci sebenaplnění, jejímž rubem je osudová osamělost a nejistota.
Painter Linda Klimentová (1977) lives and works in Prague and South Bohemia. She studied at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts in the painting studio of Michael Rittstein in 2000–2006. She completed an internship at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in Cuenca, Spain. She also uses the airy watercolor technique in acrylic painting. Airiness well expresses the vagueness and elusiveness of memories and ideas about reality. Her themes touch on the interface between the sacred and the everyday. With Zdenka Hušková and Markéta Zlesáková, she prepared a joint exhibition project Green Island, a reflection of her stay in New Zealand. She also exhibits in tandem with her studio colleague Vojtěch Horálek. In recent years, she has focused on the theme of the countryside and landscape, searching for an expression for the emotion of self-fulfillment, the flip side of which is fatal loneliness and uncertainty.
