Andrea Naďa Tomčíková, jež aktuálně studuje Ateliér Malby I (vedoucí Daniel Balabán) na Fakultě umění OU v Ostravě, používá člověka-postavu jako platformu pro zachycení širšího autorského sdělení. Postava je pro ni komplexním souborem jak fyzického, tak duševního absolutna. Rozměrné figurální obrazy se základními tělesnými gesty postav splývají s prostředím, v němž se nacházejí. Jejich pohyb se ustal v okamžiku klidu a napětí, jehož hlavním předmětem a hybatelem se stala vlastní malba, která je tím, co určuje, jakým motivem se autorka bude zabývat. Člověk je integrálním jevištěm, které se naprosto jistě a přirozeně rozprostírá a existuje v prostoru obrazu. Je jeho bytostně určujícím prvkem, který ačkoli funguje autonomně stále drží obraz jako celek v pevném formátu.

Andrea Naďa Tomčíková, who is currently studying Painting Studio I (led by Daniel Balabán) at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music OU in Ostrava, uses the human-figure as a platform for capturing a broader authorial message. For her, the figure is a complex set of both physical and mental absolutes. Dimensional figurative images with the basic body gestures of the characters merge with the environment in which they are located. Their movement stopped in a moment of calm and tension, the main subject and driving force of which became the painting itself, which is what determines what motif the author will deal with. Man is an integral stage that absolutely certainly and naturally extends and exists in the space of the image. It is its essential defining element which, although it functions autonomously, still holds the image as a whole in a fixed format.
