Kresby Kamila Šlapáka jsou trpělivým a cizelovaným. Autor, aktuálně studující na Katedře Malířství (Ateliér 3EAM, vedoucí Rostislav Sedlačík) na VŠVU v Bratislavě, pracuje velmi promyšleným a analytickým způsobem. Dokáže interpretovat realitu jako meziprostor mezi zjevným a tušeným. Šlapákovy kresby vtahují do blízkého a vzdáleného, lehkého a těžkého, průzračného a temného, nacházejí se na mezi předmětného a přírodního, spojují drapérii a obzor. Stojí v ostrém střetu vnějšího a vnitřního, jako by se autor rozhlížel do obou stran současně a chtěl mít naráz, co se odehrává před ním a co za ním.

Kamil Šlapák's drawings are patient and chiseled. The author, currently studying at the Department of Painting (Studio 3EAM, led by Rostislav Sedlačík) at the VŠVU in Bratislava, works in a very thoughtful and analytical way. He can interpret reality as an intermediate space between the obvious and the suspected. Šlapák's drawings draw in the near and the far, the light and the heavy, the transparent and the dark, they are located between the object and nature, they connect the drapery and the horizon. It stands in sharp conflict between the external and the internal, as if the author was looking around in both directions at the same time and wanted to have at once what was happening in front of him and what was behind him.
