Filip Dvořák (*1990) se ve své tvorbě se často obrací do historie a využívá tvarosloví epoch, v nichž mělo umění zásadní duchovní roli. Tyto motivy volně kombinuje se současnými materiály, technikami a vizualitou. Pomocí příběhů, reliéfů, architektonických fragmentů, ornamentů, krajin, asambláží či západů slunce mu jde o hledání pravdy a zobrazení pocitu, že to, o čem mluví, je dnes stejné jako před stovkami let. Studoval v ateliéru Malby Jiřího Černického a Marka Meduny na pražské UMPRUM (2010–2015). V roce 2012 absolvoval v studijní stáž na Glasgow School of Art. Dvořák je laureátem ceny ESSL Art Award CEE 2015, Ceny kritiků za mladou malbu 2018. Od roku 2011 vystavuje v Čechách i zahraničí. Jeho tvorba je zastoupena ve významných českých i zahraničních sbírkách. Žije a pracuje v Hejnicích.

Filip Dvořák (*1990) often turns to history in his artistic practice, drawing on the visual language of periods in which art held a profound spiritual role. He freely combines these references with contemporary materials, techniques, and aesthetics. Through narratives, reliefs, architectural fragments, ornaments, landscapes, assemblages, or sunsets, he explores notions of truth and the feeling that what he addresses remains unchanged even after centuries. He studied in the Painting Studio of Jiří Černický and Marek Meduna at UMPRUM in Prague (2010–2015) and completed a study stay at the Glasgow School of Art in 2012. Dvořák is a recipient of the ESSL Art Award CEE 2015 and the Critics’ Award for Young Painting 2018. Since 2011, he has exhibited both in the Czech Republic and internationally. His works are represented in notable public and private collections at home and abroad. He lives and works in Hejnice, Czech Republic.
